It seems that wherever teh Backstreet Boys go, serious excitement follows. Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Nicky Carter are honest-to-goodness superstars all around the globe. 16 tagged along with the oh-so-adorable guys during their recent whirlwind appearances in Montreal, Canada and we can tell ya', you better believe the hype--these boys definately got it goin' on!

It doesnt take a lot of coaxing to get major babe Nick, who's 17 years old, into the spotlight. The singing sweetheart just loves crooning to his fans. He also gets the chance to show off his drumming abilities each and every night.

Brian is definately not shy, on stage or off. "It's amazing to be able to do this," he says, "To me, it's completely natural to sing and be a ham on stage.

Mad gorgeous Howie is another guy who's completely at home on stage--but he does get a little bit nervous about wearing his shirt open in front of a screaming audience. "I have to make a point of working out regularly," Howie admits. "It doesn't look too good ti have a chuggle of fat around your waist."

No matter how often the boys perform, AJ admits he still gets butterflies in his stomach before stepping on stage. "I get nervous before every song," AJ says. "I always think I'm going to forget the words. But then the music comes up and it all comes back."

Think bein' a Backstreet Boy means all glitz and glamour? Think again! Right after their concert the guys flew into New York City to record some new songs for the album they're releasing here in the US this spring. All the boys beleive the new songs really give a good ides of what the group is all about. "We want to record songs that come from ourr hearts," says Kevin. "We want everyone to really hear what we're all about."

Traveling around the world is one of the things Kevin, Howie, Brian, AJ nad Nick are really into--here's what they each had to day about it!
KEVIN: "We've really devoted ourselves to touring and getting our music heard. I really have new found respect for Madonna and Prince, because this kind of touring is a lot of work."
HOWIE: "Normally, the first time we visit a new country, we try to see the sights. But more often han not, we only get to dee the hotel and the arena where we're performing."
BRIAN: "It's exciting to perform all over the world, but we really can't wait to bring it home to America."
AJ: "The sound of the audience makes--when everyone's screaming--makes you dizzy. It's an amazing feeling for me to know those fans are screaming for us."
NICK: "When you perform in front of a smaller audience, it can make you more nervous, because you're mush closer to them. But when you're in front of a big audience, your adrenaline is going through the roof. Each one has it's own appeal."
